Scaled to accommodate 3 ¾†figures (not included), the Empire Strikes Back Vintage Luke Skywalker's Tauntaun features articulated arms and legs, and removable saddle and reins. An indigenous repromammal adapted to the frozen wastes of Hoth, Tauntauns have broad feet which enabled them to traverse slick surfaces; they also have swiveling ears, chambered lungs, dual nostrils, and a thick sheaf of protective blubber. Unfortunately, Tauntauns are also the favorite food of rampaging Wampa Snow Beasts. During the Rebel Allianceâ€TMs presence on Hoth, Luke Skywalker and his Tauntaun mount are waylaid by a snow beast, necessitating that Han Solo, mounted atop his own Tauntaun, brave drastically decreasing temperatures in an effort to locate Skywalker.
